# Container With Most Water

### Problem

> You are given an integer array `height` of length `n`. There are `n` vertical lines drawn such that the two endpoints of the `ith` line are `(i, 0)` and `(i, height[i])`.
>
> Find two lines that together with the x-axis form a container, such that the container contains the most water.
>
> Return *the maximum amount of water a container can store*.
>
> **Notice** that you may not slant the container.
>

- two pointers, starting at both ends, find largest rectangle
- move the poitner with the lowest height to find another that is taller
```

### Solution

var maxArea = function (height) {
  let output = 0;
  let left = 0;
  let right = height.length - 1;

  while (left < right) {
    let width = right - left;

    // choose the max, either from output of product of min height * width
    output = Math.max(output, Math.min(height[left], height[right]) * width);

    if (height[left] <= height[right]) {
      left++;
    } else {
      right--;
    }
  }

  // console.log(output)
  return output;
};

```
